When the police drives out of the Nags Head car park after arresting Del the bonnet of the car is damaged from earlier in the show, but when the car pulls up outside the police station there is no damage to the car.
After seeing Raquel stripping at Uncle Albert's party Del storms out and eventually gets in the van to drive away when he starts the engine it dumps oil on the floor except the engine is nowhere near the position where the oil comes out.
Albert tells a story about the ship he was sailing in hitting an American Aircraft Carrier, USS Pittsburgh during world war 2.
USS Pittsburgh was a heavy cruiser not an aircraft carrier.
A police car would not still be being driven several days after being damaged in a collision, and would have been taken off the road immediately for repair.
When the "naval officer" (actually an employee of the stripogram service) confronts Uncle Albert at his birthday party, Del appears surprised, however he must have given them the information about the collision with the Pittsburgh, otherwise they would have not been able to stage it.
When Uncle Albert salutes the Naval Officer, his salute is incorrect. He uses the Army style salute of showing the palm of the hand to the Officer. Naval salutes hide the palm of the hand toward the face of the person saluting. Also, the Lieutenant-Commander says "read the charges Petty Officer", however, Raquel's cap badge is a WRNS Officer cap badge and not that of a Petty Officer.
Del describes the USS Pittsburgh as being "42,000 tons of steel." Actually it weighs around 13,600 tons.
