Canine woes for Stan.
Sleepin_Dragon9 October 2022
Station Clippie Edna gets evicted from her room, partly concerned, partly on the make, Stan offers her a room at his place, for the reduced price of three quid a week.

It wasn't my favourite episode from the series it's fair to say, but there are a couple of laughs, seeing Stan in his luxury Playboy pyjamas was quite funny, and seeing Arthur creeping up behind a lustful Stan was also quite funny.

I do think it was a bit of a tame end to the third series, this has been the best overall run so far, but Stan's barking was something of a cringe worthy moment.

What a beautiful dog, and clearly happy in the company of the entire cast.

A decent end to the series, 6/10.

Stan in the dog-house again!
Rabical-9116 July 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Clippie Edna has been thrown out of her digs as the landlady does not approve of her owning a dog. Also not helping was the fact that Stan the night before brought her back home at an ungodly hour. To placate her worries, he offers to put her up in the spare room back at his house. The family are amenable until they discover that her 'little doggy' is none other than a hulking great dane!

A fairly dire ending to the otherwise wonderful third series of 'On The Buses'. Stan's attempts to woo Edna out of her room by impersonating the dog barking is nothing short of embarrassing. The dog, named here as 'Coco', belonged to Anna Karen in real life. He appeared previously in 'Aunt Maud' as Marcus and made one further appearance as an unnamed dog in 'The Anniversary' from series four. The late Patricia Clapton, who appeared in 'Radio Control', makes her last appearance as Edna.

Funniest bit - Edna modelling to Olive her see-through nightie. ''Arthur doesn't like me wearing see-through nighties'' says Olive to Edna, ''he says they are not nice!''. Arthur's response: ''Especially when all you can see underneath is a long woolly vest!''.
