The Making of a Marriage Counselor
JordanThomasHall6 February 2018
While at a nightclub bar with Peter (Michael Callan), his boss Mr. Brahms (Jack Collins) spots Peter's (assumed) wife Greta (Patricia Harty) dancing with another man. Upset, he insists the couple see a marriage counselor. Peter reports back to Mr. Brahms pretending he went and says all is now well. On leaving his office, co-worker Freddy (Steve Harmon) is with suitcase in-hand after being thrown out of the house by his wife Evie (Susan Browning, "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman"). Mr. Brahms insists Greta invite Evie over and Peter bring over the marriage counselor then he and Freddy will drop in so "we can all save the marriage together". Peter asks his uncle, eccentric artist Harry Kasanoff (character actor Herb Edelman) to play the part. However, his eccentricity carries over in his advice.
