I was watching this episode from the boxed set of all 6 episodes region 2, and the part where Chris has his WW2 deam with various authors has a fantastic sound mix that literally made me look over my shoulder. I've had a cinema system since 1993 starting with pro logic and then ac3 etc and often I'd be fooled into turning my head, especially with NX as they were good at placing sounds around the field, mainly in the Brick scenes but my TV was just on standard flat eq stereo and the 3D surround image was incredible.
It's a flat screen LCD 42" with speakers at the sides not the bottom with no audio enhancements turned on.
Has anyone else noticed this amazing effect and can anyone tell me how the heck this was done.
If any of the following are reading this then perhaps you can tell me how that was done.
Superb.
William H. Angarola .... supervising sound editor Steve Bissinger .... sound effects editor Kevin Patrick Burns .... sound re-recording mixer Glenn Micallef .... production sound mixer Christian P. Minkler .... sound re-recording mixer Jon Taylor .... sound re-recording mixer
Thanks all.
