Factual errors

In the opening scene, Ed and Heather are making out on the couch as North by Northwest (1959) is playing on the big-screen television. Two scenes from the film, which is playing passively (no one is stopping or fast-forwarding the film), are visible. The first is Thornhill and the Professor at the airport. The second is Eve shooting Thornhill in the visitors' center at Mount Rushmore. Within the time line of the opening scene, that second scene from North by Northwest does not follow the first that quickly.

Miscellaneous

For the last bowling session Dr Capra persuaded his wife to play. The bus had already left so presumably they drove, but they are both on the bus on the return trip.

Character error

At 26:36 Ed is talking about couples from movies that are on opposite sides of the proverbial tracks that are successful together. He mentions that Johnny Weissmuller and Maureen O'Hara did it in Tarzan. Maureen O'Hara was not in any of the Tarzan movies. Maureen O'Sullivan was Johnny's costar.
The first time at the bowling lanes, Hayden rolls a ball that knocks down all the pins except the five pin (in the middle of the rack). Moments later, off-camera, Hayden rolls his second ball. Maggie then asks him, "Did you get the nine pin, Hayden?" That isn't the pin Hayden had left. The nine pin is in the back row near the right corner.
