Three well-known L.A. area drag queens make cameo appearances - Miss Kiwi, who performs at the beginning of the episode; Sabrina LeBlanc, who recruits Alex to perform in drag; and Ebony Lane, who introduces LeChanze Deveraux to the Catch One night club audience.
The guys' drag number was choreographed by Frank Gatson, the choreographer responsible for Beyonce's and Destiny's Child's dance moves.
The song Alex and the guys lip-sync to is a cover of the disco classic "Lovin' Is Really My Game," sung by Maryann Tatum, a back-up singer for Mariah Carey.
