Appropriately, the tune that Mrs. Bowen hums throughout the episode is "Greensleeves".
In "The Tune in Dan's Cafe", they had no script, but a marvelous set, marvelous cameraman, fine actors, and everything in the world and a catchy little song ends up being on top of the charts. The tune was called "If You Leave Me Tonight, I'll Cry", and was written for the segment by the show's script editor, Gerald Sanford and music director, Hal Mooney.
The diner set that appears in "The Tune in Dan's Cafe" is the same one that was used in Midnight Never Ends/Brenda (1971).
