Near the end of the episode, Dave tries to wake up Jimmy James, and Jimmy mumbles to Dave, "Goodnight, Pumpkin..." In an earlier episode, Jimmy found out that Dave's mother calls him "Pumpkin." In that episode, for fun, he continued to address Dave as "Pumpkin." [02.01.2020]

The man that Bill says he bet he didn't think he even noticed, is actually Joe Furey, one of the writers on the series (though not on this episode).
Cassandra boasts of having sex with a Congressman and his wife. She does not specify which Congressman when Dave asks. He then says that he can rule out Barney Frank. Frank, who was a US Representative from 1981 to 2013 is openly gay.
A Boba Fett figure is used in this episode (where Joe keeps a camera hidden). Stephen Root later made a guest appearance on the 'Star Wars' spinoff series "The Book of Boba Fett".
