This is a really interesting episode. Eileen Brennan returns as Corinne, the illustrator, who has some screws loose. She has been in an institution for a year and a half. Dick and Joanna go to visit Michael there and she asks Dick to take her back as his illustrator for a series of children's how-to books. Unfortunately she likes to set fires. George gets big time paranoia. Toward the end, Stephanie goes to visit Michael and he has a psychotic roommate played by Robert Picardo, one of my all time favorite character actors. He is really crazy and has obviously committed murder in the past. He takes a shine to Stephanie and Michael has to intervene.

Dick reconnects with Corinne Denby

Dick is visiting Michael when he is put in a sanitarium, there he finds Corinne Denby, the cranky illustrator he previously worked with.
An Ok episode, some amusing moments with some edgy humor about mental illness. Michael had a breakdown in the last episode and this is the result of that. Stephanie visits him and finds Michael has a creepy roommate who put his girl friend in a car trunk. There are some amusing scenes with Dick, Joanna and George being nervous about Corinne (Eileen Brennan) when they sign her out of the sanitarium but later find out she is a firebug.
