J. P. Sam Abbott is killed in his gym, how wife's lover is suspected, the case is made all the more complicated when the skeleton of a young woman is uncovered.
This is the only episode that I felt the need to watch twice, I'm not too sure if it was because I was struggling to concentrate, or that the story was just a little more complicated to follow than is usual.
Definitely some depth to this story, more layered, a bit more complex, Kingdom has to work out how a present day death could possibly be linked to the disappearance of a young couple some fifteen years ago.
Well made, with a nice cast, it's interesting to see Kingdom put under some pressure, and given the runaround by those wanting to keep their secrets hidden. Good to see Kingdom ruffling a few feathers, definitely not afraid to ask awkward questions.
It feels as though the show in its current guise, is starting to come to a natural end. For me the question now, will Alan Ward get his promotion back?
A good mystery, 7/10.
