While investigating the scene Tony notices burnout marks made by a car. Gibbs states that the burnout mark was made by a front wheel drive. Modern cars have limited slip differential that allows only one tire to burnout. The dual burn marks were made by a positraction differential such as in older muscle cars.

When Abby asks Gibbs if he has a fetish, she has her arms raised and her fingertips together. In the reverse shot showing Gibbs, her arms are hanging down. It changes twice.

When the team is at Norfolk looking for the Master Chief, Kate is wearing heels. When they go directly to the warehouse where the party was, as the team searches; Kate is wearing flat shoes.

When Gibbs wants Abby to trace where Nutter's cell phone is, he gives her a 702 area code number. That is a code for Nevada, but Nutter is based in Virginia (which has a code of 703).

Some may argue that with Nutter being military, his home citizenship may've been Nevada, where he could've got his cell phone. However, its was stated that he had been posted in Virginia for 10 years. It's more likely he acquired his phone in Virginia, where he was posted.

During the closeup of the cash that Gibbs finds in the speaker, the text "For Motion Picture Use only" is visible on the bills.

When the team is in the parking lot, Gibbs asks the police officer if he was in the habit of releasing material witnesses before they talk to investigators. It was apparent that Gibbs wasn't happy. Just before the segue to the sequence at the high school, there is a brief second where we see Gibbs and the Alexandria cop break character by laughing in conversation.

While discussing the victim's BAC Abby states that he was "...legally drunk in all 50 states, including the District of Columbia." D.C is not a state, so she should have said ...all 50 states and the District of Columbia."

This investigation takes place near NCIS headquarters, in and around the Washington, D.C. area. In one scene, the 6th Avenue Bridge near downtown Los Angeles can clearly be seen in the background.

When Gibbs's team gets to the club where PFC Gordon's body was found, Ducky is already there. Gibbs asks Ducky if he has an ID on the body.

Gordon was found at a civilian club in civilian clothes. NCIS wouldn't have been called to investigate if the victim weren't Navy or Marine personnel.

Dr. "Ducky" Mallard comments on the numerous broken bones of the deceased, and lists "...tibia, fibia, ..." He should have said "fibula", not "fibia". Both the audible dialog and the closed-captioning contain this error.

Gibbs suggests they continue their investigation by taking the advice given by the informant in the Watergate scandal who known as "Deep Throat"; "Follow the money". However Deep Throat never said that - it was made up for the film "All The President's Men".
