Fran Drescher and Lauren Lane in The Nanny (1993)

Goofs

The Whine Cellar

The Nanny

Edit

Continuity

In one same scene at the beginning, in the cellar, C.C.'s purse changes from a huge blue and white brocade tote bag that she holds in her hand, to a large black leather satchel that then hangs on her shoulder. In their next scene in the cellar, the tote has reappeared and the black purse is nowhere in sight.
When Fran started doing her hair, C.C.'s brocade tote bag is in front of the stairs, facing the camera. She has not moved when the scene cuts back to her, and shows the big reveal, she is still sitting while her hair is finished. Yet, the purse is gone from camera center and is nowhere in sight.

Revealing mistakes

When Sylvia comes to the door, when practicing for her surprise party, the doorbell rings, even though her arms are crossed.

Crew or equipment visible

In the denouement, when Yetta says "Thank you for a lovely evening," a cast or crew member wearing a red jacket can be seen behind her, walking through the hallway behind the piano.

Character error

C.C. does not have nearly enough volume nor length to her hair to make that bouffant do Fran allegedly gave her.
Fran is too stupid to know what "adenoids" are. (Recurring jokes and gags as to her inherent stupidity and lack of education are regularly made.) Yet, here she uses the fancy word like she'd gone to Yale.
