- Lt. Mike Parker: You got the gun?
- Det. Frank Arcaro: Yeah.
- Lt. Mike Parker: This gun was fired.
- Det. Frank Arcaro: Yes, sir.
- Lawyer: The fact that the gun was fired has no relevancy. When a permit is issued, it is assumed that the weapon will be fired. That is the purpose of the weapon.
- Lt. Mike Parker: It is not assumed that this gun will be used irresponsibly.
- Lawyer: That judgment is not yours to make, Lieutenant. The judgment is the responsibility was made by the authorities issuing the permit.
- Rhonda Cameron: One thing I expect from a servant is discretion. Not a lot of discretion, just a little bit. Not a lot of loyalty, just a little bit of loyalty. Now there are things that go on in a household that are private. And the fact that you happen to be working here, the fact that you might overhear something, or get it passed on to you in gossip by somebody who might have overheard something, does not make it public property. I don't expect my private affairs to be dragged into a police station by the people who work for me. So to make a long story nauseating, you can pick up your traditional two week's pay and get out! The employment agencies are just filled with people who are waiting to get the jobs that you just had. Good night.
- Blair Cameron: [speaking to Karen] Haven't you had enough of hotel rooms? Do you like walking around her house? Do you like taking care of her child, passing her husband on the stairs, saying, "Good morning, Mr. Cameron." Do you like that?
- Rhonda Cameron: Running low on the household account. I could use another thousand.
- Blair Cameron: I'll have Herb put some money in the account. Anything else?
- Rhonda Cameron: Nope. We're up to date.
