The first harsh case involves and elderly couple who are robbed and the husband taken away. He is brutally assaulted and put in the trunk of a car where he dies. The second is about a snooty woman who talks about helping immigrants by having them work for her. In reality, she barely pays a young woman. She is so full of herself. When some little items go missing the young woman, who is pregnant at the time, probably from her male "employer," she ends up alone, allowing her baby to die. There is a terrific scene at the conclusion. Finally, Danny brings home a young guy who has provided information to him, who is sliding down the slope of drug abuse and is probably going to die.
