- Martin has distilled art music into liquid form. Thinking it's perfume, Mrs. Brown is transformed into a piano virtuoso and wows her music club. They want her in an upcoming fundraiser. The guys persuade a true concert pianist to join her.
- Mrs. Brown has asked Tim and Martin to listen to her piano performance at her woman's club meeting. She is awful. Half way through her performance, she excuses herself to go get her music in Tim's apartment. When she returns, she is now a virtuoso. Apparently she grabbed more than than just her music in Tim's apartment; she also grabbed some of Martin's liquid musical distillate. Martians can transfer musical energy into liquid form and when the distillate comes in contact with humans, it will transfer the energy of music into that person to be able to perform it. Mrs. Brown found some of Martin's distillate in an atomizer bottle she thought was her birthday present perfume. She sprayed on a little too much however as an excessive amount has the opposite effect of sucking the musical energy out of one. Mrs. Brown could only get through half of the music in its virtuosic state. Regardless, Mrs. Wooster, the club chair, suggests that Mrs. Brown be the star attraction at a musical fund-raiser. Wanting to help, Mrs. Brown agrees. However Martin and Tim know she can't carry the concert and they ask a retired concert pianist, Ilya Politnikoff, to perform. It takes some Martian trickery to get him to agree to come out of retirement. Mrs. Wooster is somewhat perturbed at Martin and Tim's interference and the overshadowing of her star find, Mrs. Brown, and suggests the two play a duet. Thus, Martin and Tim are not yet out of the woods in protecting Mrs. Brown. They provide her with some distillate in the form of hand cream, which she in turn gives to Politnikoff for his dry hands. He has put on too much and as a result has become musically incapacitated. Now there are no virtuoso pianists for the concert. So Martin has to take matters into his own hands by disabling the strings in the two pianos and hooking up the mic to himself and having the music come out of him while Politnikoff and Mrs. Brown think they're playing.—Huggo
