Jessica has a fiery encounter with sensationalist writer Jane Dawson, soon after, Dawson is found dead in her bath tub, having been electrocuted.
This is one of those episodes that I struggled to get into, it was on, but felt like background noise, I didn't think it was the most engaging story, I didn't care for many of the characters, and I think this one was easy to guess exactly 'whodunnit.'
The first two episodes in this series were both very good, this third was ok, one thing I will applaud are the production values, it looks great, apart from Lansbury's hair, which looks oddly flat.
The Lieutenant was a pretty fun character, and it was amusing to learn exactly why he was being so nice to Jessica.
That ending......even for Jessica, that was smug.
Jessica Walter adds a bit of star quality as Jane Dawson, it's just a shame she didn't get a huge amount of screen time.
6/10.
