- TriviaThe convent scenes were filmed at Ramona Convent Secondary School in Alhambra, CA, an all-girls Catholic Jr. High and High School. The school's main building, where most interior and exterior filming was done, was irreparably damaged during the Whittier Narrows Earthquake on 10/1/87, ten days before this was aired. The main building was demolished 12/11/87, 18 months short of its 100-year anniversary.
- GoofsThe Celtic Cross is not a Crucifiix; Crucifixes have the body of Christ on the cross.

[last lines]
Jessica Fletcher: Bishop Shea, we couldn't have done it without your blessing.
Bishop Patrick Shea: Well, yes, that, that's true, isn't it? Oh. There's one more thing that you can do for me before you go.
Jessica Fletcher: Oh, what's that?
Bishop Patrick Shea: Try to impress on your dear old friend here the obligation of obedience. She is a troublemaker, you know.
Jessica Fletcher: I'm afraid that is your problem. And a delightful one you're going to have to deal with for a long, long time.

Like most episodes, this one has some old Hollywood faces, such as Jane Powell, Evelyn Keyes and Audrey Totter among the nuns. As for the story, it's decent and the only major deficits are the Bishop's odd behaviors as well as the confession at the end...a plot device that's a bit overused on the show. Still, it is enjoyable and worth seeing.
