This show was shot as part of the first season (production number 113), and was broadcast as such in the UK on BBC Television. In the US, it was not aired until the second. Seymour and Pepe are still working as elevator attendant instead of in the commissary. Statler and Waldorf are seen watching the show from a nursing home like they were in the first season while the second features them visiting various different locations. There is an installments of "Swift Wits" and "At the Bar" with Polly Lobster and Clueless Morgan, both of which were discontinued after the first season.
Pierce Brosnan is the second James Bond actor to guest star on a Muppet TV show. In the final season of The Muppet Show (1976), Roger Moore also guest starred and they both got the same treatment. All of the characters would address them as James Bond or the other variations, (Mr. Bond, 007), and they both would reply by saying they're not really James Bond, it's just a character they played in the movies. Which also was used as a subliminal message to kids, saying that when you meet an actor don't call them by their characters names, call them by their actual names.
