Goofs

Mr. Monk and the Psychic

Monk

Edit

Continuity

[30:23] A blue car passes behind the man Monk is questioning. [30:33] 10 seconds later the same blue car goes by again.

Errors in geography

The series is set in San Francisco but filmed in Canada. The blue van that passes behind the Commissioner when Adrian is questioning him outside the dog shelter is a Bell Canada service vehicle.
[17:37] Jennie Zepetelli's address is 623 Modesto Pl. San Anselmo, CA 94960. The ZIP Code (postal code) is real and corresponds with the post office at 121 San Anselmo Avenue. But the rest of the address is fictional. There is no Modesto Place in San Anselmo.

Boom mic visible

When Monk is looking in the refrigerator, the boom mic drops into the frame and then quickly pulls up.

Character error

When Monk is washing his hands in the commissioners house he turns off the water with the hand towel and then dries his hands. A germaphobe like Monk would dry his hands before turning off the water because the germs on the faucet would get on the towel and then on his hands.
