While Monk is cleaning Lt. Kirk's kitchen, he picks up a plate and goes to place it in the sink. After a film cut, the plate is replaced by a frying pan.
When Monk is in front of the review board, a member throws away a crumpled ball of paper, but it misses the waste basket. In subsequent shots the ball can be seen close to the waste basket, then several feet away, then close to the basket again.
When Stottlemeyer is talking to the review board, shots of the review board members show the blinds behind them are closed. When the camera is on Stottlemeyer, the shadows on the wall behind him show that the blinds are open.
When Monk claims he's solved the case, his right hand is on his cheek. It then cuts to a shot from the opposite angle and the hand is still there. In the next shot both his arms are resting on his legs.

When Monk and Sharona are on their way to the carnival and are talking to Stottlemeyer on the cell phone, there are two separate shots where the gear selector lever is seen and it is in the "park" position.
Sharona holds up her cell phone so Monk can explain to Stottlemeyer how the murder was committed, but the screen on the phone is blank. It's not turned on.
When Captain Stottlemeyer drops Adam Kirk off at the carnival, he is supposed to go home but you can still see the antenna of the car at the corner of the screen.
On the Ferris wheel, when Stokes is yelling at Sharona, the audio doesn't match his mouth, even distance sound-lag wouldn't explain the differences.
Monk notes how unusual it is to be wearing a sweater at the carnival when it was about 95 degrees that night. 95 degrees, even at night, is not unusual for much of California like Los Angeles and Sacramento. However, it is for the San Francisco Bay area, where this show is meant to take place, and which is known for having very mild temperatures but rarely gets that hot even during the day in summer.
