- King Friday XIII: Now what was it you were saying, son, about my working.
- Prince Tuesday: I don't like it when you go to work all the time.
- King Friday XIII: Nobody likes work all the time, son.
- Prince Tuesday: Then, why do you do it?
- King Friday XIII: It's my responsibility. Being a king has many responsibilities.
- Prince Tuesday: But what about Mother?
- King Friday XIII: Queens work too.
- Prince Tuesday: But you both go to work too much.
- King Friday XIII: We'll have to talk about that another time. I'm already late for work.
- Prince Tuesday: See what I mean?
- Mr. Rogers: Even when your parents go to work, they are still somewhere. And wherever they are, you can be sure that they are thinking a lot about you and thinking about when they'll see you again.
- Mr. Rogers: When your parents think about you, that can give them a very good feeling because they love you in a different way than anybody could ever love you.
