The Council: Part 2

Mission: Impossible

Edit

Continuity

After the bomb in the tailpipe explodes, the tailpipe on the burning car is still intact.
When Cinnamon is performing "plastic surgery" on Rollin, she announces that she's getting rid of the cleft in his chin, then removes his supposed make-up so that his chin no longer looks cleft. A few seconds later, Paul Stevens' face is reflected in a mirror with the cleft clearly visible.
When Jim gets in Daly's car, he's wearing a jacket. However, when he slips out of the fake back and goes down through the hatch, his jacket has disappeared. When he leaves the building to go to the car, it can also be seen that he is not wearing the dummy back.
The tailpipe on "Daly's" car alternates from having a jagged end to smooth with a flattened bottom.

Factual errors

When Cinnamon dials the operator from the pay phone, she puts in a dime. Pay phones did not require payment when calling the operator.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

There is no way the IMF could have known that Daly would be "tailpiped," requiring the creation of a fake dummy-back.

REPLY: Rollin, impersonating a face-changed Frank Wayne, is the one who tells Johnny to tailpipe Daly, so the IMF knew how Daly would be "hit".

Revealing mistakes

No amount of plastic surgery will change the shape of a person's teeth, but Frank's longtime associates don't notice the entirely "new" set of teeth he is now sporting.
The side-by-side shots of the elevators in the shafts are the same footage, mirrored. The perspective is also wrong.

Plot holes

It's highly unlikely the IMF team would allow a car to be blown up on a street that was earlier shown to be teeming with innocent pedestrians, including children.
