Not a very technical episode but the mission runs smoothly and you have to love the irony. When the bad guys are loading the gold into the back of the vehicle for the team to drive away with, I don't know how they kept the smirks off their faces.

Shades of the "Watermelon Man" movie

*SPOILER ALERT*
This particular IMF episode takes a page from the movie released in the previous year called "Watermelon Man" where a white male changes to a dark skinned man overnight. Using a while racist organization in Africa as the theme of this mission, the plot deals with the rescue of a captured Black African prisoner who has stolen a gold shipment that was owned by the racist organization. Lawrence Dobkin plays the leader of the racist organization who undergoes the skin color change that is induced by drugs and a special light tube that is installed in his quarters. This change forces him to hide his condition from his other followers and to undermine what he thought was his white ancestry. Phelps and Doug play fake white racist soldiers while Barney has himself captured so that he can be close to the captured prisoner. Dana plays an interviewer and Paris plays a photographer who provides different photos to fool the racist leader. The team is able to get the location of the stolen gold and use that knowledge to make it appear that the now skin color changed racist leader is involved with the theft.
