- Phelps poses as a pool shark to break up a gambling ring led by Krebbs and Allen, and recover microfilm left behind by a dead agent.
- The team's mission is to locate the wristwatch of an undercover Federal Agent who went to get evidence against a gambling lord. It seems like the wristwatch is a camera and the agent may have photographed some evidence against the gambling lord and they were unaware of it when they killed him. Jim poses as a pool shark because the gambling lord is a major pool player. And he recruits Mimi King the ex of the lord's lieutenant who left her high and dry after she was arrested.—rcs0411@yahoo.com
- The name of the game is pool as the IMF plots to get back the camera watch, with incriminating mobster information on it--- still on the wrist of a murdered agent. Barney sets up Jim as a pool shark helped along by one of Barney's gadgets, this time a computerized pool table setup, including a cue ball with an internal guidance system. Paroled Mimi is anxious to get back at the man she went to jail for, Press Allen, whose downfall will in turn give the law access to his corrupt mob boss. Casey is "on a special assignment" and is unavailable for the mission. So, Mimi agrees to work with the IMF on this mission, to get Press Allen, his boss Krebs, and the others. Allen sponsors pool matches and homes in on Jim's pool phenom, who seems unbeatable, after a few weeks of playing "champs". Phelps and Barney rob Krebs payroll a couple of times, putting him in some financial stress. Mimi fakes some jealousy against a girl that Allen likes, and confronts him with a "sure thing", as she uncovers the computerized "cheat machine" of Barney and Phelps. Allen then reveals Barney's cheat machine to his boss's advarsary--Tim Sharkey--who then decides to wager a huge bet against Phelps--now that the cheat machine is under "Sharkey's control". However---things do NOT go as planned at the final match-up against "Stick Hudson, and Sharkey then reveals the computer in the cue ball--only to find it is NOT there. Having to face his debt to Krebs, Allen is confronted by Krebs and Sharkey, with a death threat. WIlly offers Allen a "way out"..to reveal the location of the camera watch, and the bad guys are tricked by their own greed into revealing the location of the body. Mimi--now off parole and free , decides to "stay on awhile" and help the IMF on future missions.
