Factual errors

When entering the studio to retake the damaged film the words "Keep This Area Clear" were in English on the pavement as was the word "Explosives" on the red box inside the studio, even though this was supposed to be a foreign country.

Revealing mistakes

When Barney reconnects the water line feeding the sprinkler in the film vault, he hand-tightens the union clockwise. Then he uses a pipe wrench to tighten it fully, but counter-clockwise. This would loosen, not tighten, the union.
As Tom is driving the camera jib truck, the name on the front has black tape over it.

Crew or equipment visible

The right hand (take up) reel on the tape recorder has a pyrotechnic device mounted upon it.

Plot holes

Klaar gets the new film footage from the courier and shows it to the assembled press corps. There is no indication when or how it was spliced together with the bona fide newsreel coverage.

Character error

After the heating element melts the sprinklers fusable link, Barney removes the heater without unplugging it. The heater should still be glowing as he pulls it out. He then handles it without getting burnt.
