Sex & Nudity

  • There are two brief scenes of couples in bed together after having sex, nothing graphic is shown apart from a quick shot of Peter Drinkwater's (Orlando Bloom) bum.

  • A dead woman is seen sitting in a chair with multiple stab wounds over her chest and wearing a blood stained top, a few scenes later a blood stained knife is shown.
  • A head is cut off a dead chicken with a butcher's knife in a butcher's shop.
  • Peter Drinkwater (Orlando Bloom) is stabbed in the chest with a two pronged pitchfork, the pitchfork is not shown entering his chest and there is no blood shown either.
  • A badly burned woman's hand and face is seen.
  • There is a shot of a dead woman's body with a knife stuck in her side.

Profanity

  • There are seven instances of mild profanity:
    • Laura Brierly (Marsha Fitzalan) says to her vet husband Gordon (Richard Hop) 'If you don't mind removing your hand from that dog's arse'.
    • After having his house broken into Edward Allardice (Moray Watson) says 'If I ever get my hands on the little barstards who did this I'll kill them'. This line is repeated three times during the film.
    • Tom Barnaby (John Nettles) says in response to the above line 'You said little barstards as in plural'.
    • Peter Drinkwater (Orlando Bloom) says 'Get lost Laura, just piss off' during an argument.
    • Someone says 'God, you little bastard'.

  • Some scenes are set in a pub where people are seen drinking and smoking.
