Don Johnson in Miami Vice (1984)

Goofs

El Viejo

Miami Vice

Edit

Continuity

Even with the intro modified to reflect the switch to the white Ferrari Testarossa, the black Ferrari 365 made a ghost re-appearance somehow.
When Crockett and Tubbs are being shot at from the van, Pierson is following in Tubbs' car. As he rams the van with the shooter, the front license plate is not affixed to the car. It suddenly appears in a subsequent shot.

Factual errors

The pawn receipt lists Jake Pierson's hair as "BRN" (brown); Willie Nelson's hair is red.
When Crockett is telling Tubbs of the great Texas Rangers the first name he says is "Bill McCulloch" there was no "Bill McCulloch". The real name was "Benjamin McCulloch".

Miscellaneous

A man does not ask another man if he can have a pinch of chewing tobacco, snuff, etc. This was obviously in the script to establish the guy as a good old boy, but this isn't done. It is offered, but not asked for.. (Putting one's dirty fingers into something that another guy puts in his mouth? Not done.)

Crew or equipment visible

Switek and the Lt. from Broward walk out to a semi rig parked behind Miami Vice's "police station". The semi has a large chrome grill. As the two actors walk past the front of the semi, you can see the reflection of the camera crew in the truck's chrome grill.
