A man does not ask another man if he can have a pinch of chewing tobacco, snuff, etc. This was obviously in the script to establish the guy as a good old boy, but this isn't done. It is offered, but not asked for.. (Putting one's dirty fingers into something that another guy puts in his mouth? Not done.)
Switek and the Lt. from Broward walk out to a semi rig parked behind Miami Vice's "police station". The semi has a large chrome grill. As the two actors walk past the front of the semi, you can see the reflection of the camera crew in the truck's chrome grill.
