- Gary and Dorothy's wedding day has arrived and the relatives turn up for the occasion but, as everybody arrives at the registry office two hours early, they head off for the pub. Later they discover that the ceremony cannot take place as the registrar has fallen ill and no replacement can be found. This is no great hardship for the happy couple who decide that they are content with the current arrangement and go on the honeymoon anyway. And Tony, after a six year wait, finally gets to have sex with Deborah.—don @ minifie-1
- The big day has arrived but neither Dorothy or Gary are particularly looking forward to it. Gary's mate Clive makes an appearance (series writer Simon Nye in cameo) and films the day's events unfolding starting with the couple arriving 2 hours early for the wedding meaning everyone heads to the Crown where Ken is yet to set up for the reception.
Back at the flat, Tony and Debs go to pick up the cake and after Tony tries it on, Debs says she will only sleep with him after Gary and Dorothy are married. After 6 years of waiting, Tony makes her sign an agreement to guarantee she won't back out.
Back at the registry office, the registrar falls ill mid-proceedings so it's back to the Crown for the reception. Everyone soon gets merry and Gary airs his doubts as to whether he's ready to settle down after not sleeping with enough women. It's clear Dorothy feels the same too and soon after Dorothy announces the registry office can't marry them today as a replacement registrar can't be located. It turns out it's a lie as Dorothy confesses to Gary and they both agree they are happy as they are and head off on their honeymoon.
Tony meanwhile has had to doctor his signed agreement but it turns out Debs signed under a false name but agrees to sleep with him anyway.
