Maude puts on a telethon to help a little girl Baby Sally, a tap dancer who suddenly got a mysterious illness that put her in a wheelchair.
The last and one of the funniest and wackiest of musical shows. Terry Kiser plays a shady "adviser" of the telethon who is charging a $15.000 fee. It turns out it is all a scam and the child can walk and dance. Some of the musical numbers are Carol doing a version of Peggy Lee's "Fever" and Maude trying a heart tugging version of "Smile". The bratty kid bites her and runs over her foot with her wheelchair. It ends up with pie fight and Maude saves the last pie for Baby Sally.
