Ben in a different kind of episode. He's a juror.

Warning: Spoilers
Interesting one taking Ben out of his usual zone and having him be a juror in this one.

I had to laugh when both Leanne and Ben himself, said there was no way they would select him as a juror. Cut to the next scene when he is one of the final 12.

You hear stories all the time about hung juries and/or jury misconduct in the real world. I wonder if some of this stuff happens there. I can certainly see 12 different people who are very different in personalities arguing about innocence or guilt. I'm pretty sure if a physical fight broke, both the jurors would have been dismissed and alternates would have taken their place. Also, the bailiff always keeps watch over the jury so he would have known about the fight and reported it to the judge. But this is a lighthearted tv show, and so...

It was fun and interesting seeing how they worked through their discussions. I'm glad Ben didn't dominate the jury and stayed true to his duty. He wasn't the foreperson and so didn't run the show. But he did point out holes in the prosecution's case and eventually, all 12 jurors realized the man on trial wasn't guilty.

I suppose there's one of "those" in every crowd. The loudmouth who thinks they know it all and is rude and disrespectful to others of a different opinion.

Anyway, a fun, interesting, different take for Ben. Not the typical formula-type episode where he's out there investigating and questioning witnesses on the stand. He didn't even determine who the real killer was. 8/10.

A quicky version of 12 Angry Men.

Warning: Spoilers
Normally a terrific program but a bit over the top with the aggressive personalities on the jury from the get-go. So much like 12 Angry Man that this could have been a lawsuit in itself.
