When allowance day arrives, the Bundys grovel like animals so Marcy suggests that they earn a dollar and Al would double and triple it in a day. Al laughs thinking it's going to fail. Peggy gets arrested for opening up her own toll booth by the airport and is brought home. Bud finds that there is rock group, Gutter Cats, in town and they are looking for sluts to be in their latest music video. So Bud gets Kelly to audition for it. Of course, the Bundy kids know how to get rid of the competition. They trick one of the girls to hang out with a homeless guy and she replies "well I've done worse." Once Kelly is in the video, Al finds out and tries to stop it and save his Pumpkin.

Kelly puts on her sleaziest dress to try and get herself a part in The Gutter Cats latest rock video. Bud acts as Kelly's agent, which gets him more than he bargained for.
Rock and Roll Girl is a standout episode for Christina Applegate fans: she looks amazing in her most revealing outfit yet, a tight, hot-pink number guaranteed to set pulses racing. She also puts on a sexy black ensemble when she secures her part in the video, the girl gyrating to the music and allowing herself to be chained to a fence (for the second time that week).
This episode not only delivers the raunch, but is also very funny ("Hey, look at that blonde all over the singer like a coat. Oh boy, I'd like to give her a... oops, sorry Al, that's your daughter."). Much amusement is derived from the fact that Al promises to triple any money that Peggy, Bud and Kelly can earn, which we know is going to backfire. Al makes $3000 himself by getting blown up in car for the video, but winds up paying every last cent to his family.
