- QuizLorna's home is the same set as La famiglia Brady (1969) home.
- BlooperIt appears that Frank Marr agreed to pay the $5 million for the heroin which was to be conveyed in the suitcase Lorna bought. But a million dollars can't even fit into a foot locker (despite the fact criminals are often shown on TV being able to fit such amounts into a briefcase). The only way the 5 million would have fit would have been to use the out-of-circulation $100,000 bills, which would have been useless to everyone.
- Citazioni
Lt. Art Malcolm: [Joe and Art are meeting in the middle of a bridge; Joe is going to pretend to kill Art] They bought it, huh?
Joe Mannix: So far.
Lt. Art Malcolm: I hope you haven't forgotten how to miss.
Joe Mannix: I hope you haven't forgotten how to swim.
[shoots the gun off angle and Art jumps into the water]

JOE A DRUGGIE? WHAT SAY YOU?
What a way to close out the last episode of the season as Joe becomes a heroin addict! OR is HE?
Is Malcolm (Ward Wood) just as surprised as we are to learn this, or is he onto the charade? Credit Daniel Ullman for putting this all together, a specialist in adventure, though his pet projects were generally movie and tv westerns. The catch here is that the audience is left more in the dark about Mannix's deadly condition than the bad guys? Watch this very carefully. Ullman adds a touch of black comedy as the drug dealer's moll (well played by Linda Evans) is residing in the wholesome Brady Bunch house (or whats left of the set). The series was cancelled.
Evans took some time off from THE BIG VALLEY tv show when it ended, returning in the early 1970s to appear in detective shows, such as MCCLOUD and BANACEK. After this episode, she joined David Janssen on HARRY O. Whatever her choice, she remained a very beautiful and talented dramatic actress, soon to go on to tv super stardom.
One curious thing about this wild ride. Evans (playing Lorna) buys a suitcase for the drug mastermind to carry five million bucks in heroin cash money. It's unlikely, unless you had uncirculated 100,000 dollar bills in there, or other exceptionally large notes to that degree. But alas, by this stage of the game, all of us fans were used to stretching a point. It's still kind of cool to watch the whole thing, though.
That mistake has been made in several movies and cop shows -- just how much cash can you actually squeeze into a briefcase or suitcase? Good trivia question, though!
Regis Cordic is excellent as the creepy drug dealer who slips Mannix heroin. Cordic was a popular Hollywood DJ and announcer, who replaced Bob Crane on KNX Radio when he joined HOGANS HEROES. Cordix was super in these type of roles. Reliable heavy Don Gordon co-stars as Frank. Also in the cast is Roger Perry as Sgt. Fletcher and Robert Ito, making a second series appearance, playing a doctor.
Super Classic scene with Mannix and Malcolm (Ward Wood) on the bridge. Do not miss it. All in all, well worth your viewing time as this is something different and it rocks and rolls.
Best thing, it's perfect for late night viewing. More pizza! SEASON 7 finale CBS dvd box set.
