During the flashback of Frank Bauer's prison escape, the getaway car is a blue Porsche 356 coupe. A blue Porsche is then shown crashing. After the flashback, Mannix is looking at a black and white photo if a wrecked light colored 1957 Ford sedan. This same photo was used in a previous episode.
At the 21:40 mark, as Mannix and the warden exit the State Penitentiary, which is really a studio entrance, the circular Paramount logo can briefly be seen next to the penitentiary sign in the upper-left of the screen.
During Mannix' trip to Reno, Nevada, Tom Corey (Garry Walberg) tells Mannix that he lives at the "Monarch Hotel." When Corey apparently falls from the hotel balcony later in the episode, Mannix arrives on the scene just as Corey is being taken away on a gurney to a waiting ambulance. When Mannix leans over to listen to something Corey wants to say, however, the low camera angle inadvertently identifies the real location - the Knickerbocker Hotel, which is just off Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, not Reno.
After Mannix finds the dynamite under the hood of his rental car, both he and the warden handle it instead of preserving it for a fingerprint check.
