Summaries

  • A young man named Clifton Ross (Mart Hulswit), the son of an aircraft magnate (David Brian), awakens after a night of drinking to find a bandage on his hand, blood on his shirt, and fragmentary memories of a fight with his girlfriend Doreen (Janaire). Ross learns that Doreen never came home the night before, and fears that his memories suggest that their evening together ended violently. Ross decides to hire Mannix to reconstruct the previous 24 hours of his life.—aldanoli
  • Mannix is hired by Clifton Ross, Jr. - Cliff - the proverbial black sheep son of a wealthy aircraft manufacturing mogul. Admitting to liking his drink a little too much, Cliff wants Mannix to recreate much of his past twenty-four hours which he can't remember due to imbibing. Certain items twig momentary flashes of remembrance, which lead to him believing that he may have killed his girlfriend, Doreen Roberts, who has gone missing and who he remembers telling him during an argument in that blacked out period that she was pregnant. Sr. dismisses the notion of Cliff having killed who he considered a young woman with loose morals. As Mannix and Cliff work together to recreate what happened, Cliff may have a change of heart about getting Mannix involved the more and more that it looks like Doreen is not only dead but he did indeed kill her. But there are too many convenient coincidences on the surface that don't sit well with Mannix that make him believe that whether Cliff did kill her or not that other players are keeping pertinent secrets.—Huggo
