At 13:20 as Brooke settles into the magician's box, it is quite obvious that her torso drops much lower than the presumed bottom of the box.
When she is called onstage by the magicians, Brooke leaves her purse in her chair---one of the rare few times she removes it from her shoulder---even though there was no one guarding it for her, since Jonathan was also called onstage. A woman would never do that, let alone a cop: her gun was inside. (Not only did she risk her purse, I.D. and money stolen, a crime could have been committed with her gun, since the magician had announced to the crowd she was "a police officer".)
At 48:14 when the magician introduces Brooke he says "Officer Brooke McKenzie" thus demoting her. He ought to have said "Detective" rather than "Officer".
