The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964)

Goofs

The Neptune Affair

The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Edit

Continuity

The countdown went from T - 45 to T- 40 minutes in about 30 seconds.

Factual errors

Lockridge and Solo are trapped in an air-tight room and have 18 minutes to live before the oxygen runs out. In a room that size, the two would never consume that much oxygen in just 18 minutes.

Miscellaneous

As Solo, Gabe, Felecia and her father are escaping from the oil platform fireworks are exploding in the sky. The fireworks are animated and the same firework explosion can be seen repeating itself. The second time the fireworks are shown the left and right sides are mirror images of each other and the fireworks move as a whole in the air demonstrating movement in the camera.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

The original soundtrack had the word "Freon" in it, and after the episode wrapped, it was found to be a trademark owned by DuPont. So another actor was brought in to dub the word "hydro" in its place. This is especially obvious with John Banner, since no attempt was made to match the sound with Banner's German accent.
