The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1964)

Goofs

The Her Master's Voice Affair

The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Edit

Continuity

While Solo is having tea with the headmistress, the shot of him from behind shows him holding his walking stick with his left hand and his tea cup in his right hand. However, when shot from the front, he is holding the saucer with his left hand.

Revealing mistakes

During his fist fight at beginning with the milkman (and not the first treacherous Thrush milkman Solo and Illya have tangled with in bucolic suburban locales), Solo is pinned to the ground. The milkman throws two punches, neither of which come closer than a foot from Solo's face. Still, Solo reacts (as he must) as though he'd been hit and a smacking sound is heard on the soundtrack.

Character error

Verity is surprised when the lullaby mistakenly plays at the swim meet. She should have gone into a trance.
At 21:11, immediately following a fistfight with Thrush agents, Illya holds a samurai sword in his right hand. He is clearly wearing a gold wedding band on his left ring finger.
