When Commandant Spangler briefs the cadets on the imminent visit of his 'mother', the balls on the pool table change position.
The cadets are at Spangler's door. Initially Francis is closest to the door then Finley is between Francis and the door.
Hal & Abe are in conversation at the bar. Twice we see the guys chink their glasses together. Twice we hear (and see) Stevie get punched. In both scenes a waitress (writing on an order pad) walks from left to right and a man in a brown checked shirt walks from right to left.
When the two mothers are left to chat alone in the restaurant, pieces of Stevie's mother's green paper napkin appear and disappear between shots multiple times.
(At around 19 min 25 sec) When Stevie rears to deliver the first blow against Reese's arm, the guiding handle and crewman's arm can be seen pushing his wheelchair back.
