Guest stars Tom Selleck's former wife, Jacquelyn Selleck.
The background of this episode is based on the "Hungarian Revolution" (October 23-November 10, 1956) in which the citizens of Hungary fought against the brutal communist government and Soviet Union (Russian) military that had occupied Hungary since 1945/the end of World War II. Over 2,500 Hungarians and 700 Soviet troops were killed in the conflict, and 200,000 Hungarians fled as refugees after the Soviet Union crushed the rebellion.
The character posing as Elizabeth Barrett - Robin Master's retired schoolteacher now writing a book on ornithology - was clearly named after nineteenth century poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning.
