- Capt. Sam Pak (Pat Morita) is visiting as a medical observer and Frank bristles at the notion that he should be expected to learn a few words of Korean. Frank insists that he speaks American exclusively. He works in an American military establishment. Eats in an American mess and shops in an American PX.
An ox walks into Henry's tent, owned by a family of five Koreans who claim the 4077 stole their farm. The family builds a shelter for themselves right in the middle of the 4077. Frank suggests to shoot a few guns over their heads and chase them off the land. Henry tries to get Civilian Affairs to handle the Korean family. The civilian affairs will take their own time to respond to the request and arrive at the 4077th. Sam Pak tells Henry that MASH has 3 days to vacate the land. The Ox starts crapping all over the 4077th and makes it difficult for anyone to navigate. When things cannot get much worse, a young lady named Choon Hi (Clare Nono) (who is a beautiful girl) walks in carrying a baby, Su Yong and claiming "Dr. O'Reilly" is the father. Choon hi has applied to the Judge Advocate General claiming that Radar is the father of her baby. Radar knows the girl and also admits to going to her village every weekend. But he insists that he is not the father of her baby
For once, Frank comes up with the good idea: blood tests. He also volunteers to work with civilian affairs to get the refugees off the MASH land. The blood tests are done and Hawkeye and Trapper find that Radar is not the father. Meanwhile Radar has been escorting Choon Hi all over the base and all the nurses now consider Radar as a stud. Radar likes the attention he is getting. The nurses are all giggly and cutesy around Radar, which has never been the case previously.
The Army judge advocate general arrives to decide on Radar and Choon Li's matter and in front of him Radar admits that he is the father, even when Hawkeye and Trapper testify that Radar cannot be the father. Sam Pak knows its the same old story. The real GI got Choon Hi preggers and then left her behind. Now her own family has disowned her and she has no place to go. Radar later admits to Hawkeye that he liked the nurses attention
Since Henry is not able to get anywhere with Civilian affairs, he assigns the task to Frank, saying that they both make no sense. Amazingly, Frank makes a good understanding with the Civilian Affairs person and gets them to look into the matter. Frank assigns MPs to take the Korean family into custody. Frank arranges for a truck to relocation the Korean family down south. Choon Hi is adopted by the family and leaves with them on the truck. Sam Pak assures Henry and Radar that she and the baby will be fine as they have a family now.
