Mary Kay Place in M*A*S*H (1972)

Edit

Continuity

When Radar knocks on Lieutenant Simmons' door, it appears to be nighttime, yet when he staggers into Henry's office after being "slaked", it is obviously daytime.

Factual errors

Radar claims that the camp used to be 2986 square feet and is now 2863 square feet. Given the number of private tents and multiple tents, the size of the OR and the post-op room, the mess, and the rest of the required and mentioned camp areas (laundry, cesspool, motor pool, showers, etc.), the numbers each seem low.
As a Lieutenant, Lt. Simmons should be in a shared tent with other nurses, not one by herself.

Revealing mistakes

Lyle Wesson is said to be a Marine, but his uniform is that of a United States ARMY corporal. The chevrons on his shirt sleeve do not have the standard crossed rifle design under the stripes as a Marine corporal would have.

Anachronisms

When Radar mentions the movie playing in camp that week, he says it's a Godzilla movie. However, since this episode supposedly takes place in 1952, that can't be true because Godzilla did not debut until two years later in 1954.
Hawkeye claimed that the nurse he had been dreaming of was a rerun. In 1952, all television broadcasts were live. There was no such thing yet as a "rerun".

Character error

When Hawkeye is called to assist Lance Corporal Wesson in the operating room, he is still wearing the same bloody gloves he used with the previous patient.
