Father Mulcahy inadvertently swaps a US Army Jeep for a 1950 Ford F1 Pickup. One would think it would be even more suitable as a litter vehicle because of its large bed. However, we only see it once more parked next to Rosie's Bar.
In numerous past installments, Nitrous Oxide alone was used to put patients under for surgery. No mention was made of Sodium Pentathol or surgery being slowed by using only Nitrous Oxide.
In "The Merchant Of Korea", it is established that Major Winchester whistles incessantly when playing poker. That seems to have been forgotten in the opening scene of this installment. It's possible that someone could have told him how he lost in that previous episode.
Earlier on, comments about the cold have been made. When the incoming casualty arrive, medical personnel are seen exiting the mess hall in regular uniforms without coats or winter hats or gloves. One is seen coming out in a T-shirt.
When BJ asks Colonel Potter whether "fourteen hundred" was when or how many, Potter replies, "It's when the big hand is on the fourteen." Anyone with a 24-hour clock knows it's when the LITTLE hand is on the fourteen, just like any other hour.
When Hawkeye, BJ, Klinger, Charles, Father Mulcahy and Margaret are playing cards, Loretta Swit's fingernails can be seen to be over an inch long. No nurse, especially a head nurse, would have fingernails that long.
At this point in the series, Father Mulcahy has performed a tracheotomy under fire and twice risked his life to acquire badly needed drugs for the 4077th. It seems unlikely that he would be repeatedly passed over for promotion.
Mulcahy and Winchester inexplicably leave the jeep behind when they steal the pickup. In fact, they have to drive past their abandoned jeep when returning to the 4077th. One of them could have easily jumped out of the truck and driven the jeep back.
While on the phone to the irate colonel, Radar gives his serial number as "RA-1949069." However, in Season 5's "Lt. Radar O'Reilly," Radar's serial number was "3911810."
