While Radar is getting ready for bed he takes his shirt off. In the close-up of two arms tucking in his teddy bear, the arms have long sleeves on. We then see Radar again, and his shirt is still off.
As Frank is inspecting the troops the ground is completely dry. But a few minutes later, as Radar and Hawkeye leave the Swamp, there are mud puddles everywhere as if a fairly large amount of rain just fell.
While Frank inspects the troops, second soldier's collar is inside his shirt when viewed from the front but properly outside his shirt when seen from behind.
After a conversation with Trapper (on set), Hawkeye exits the Swamp. As he and Radar walk around the Swamp (on location), we can see that Trapper is no longer inside the Swamp.
When Radar tucks his teddy bear in to bed he sees that Hawkeye notices the bear and Radar says "My brother gave it to me". There are no other mentions of Radar having a brother AND in a later episode Radar tells Hawkeye that his mom just has "My Uncle Ed and me..."
If the ceremonial cannon shot had taken Radar's bugle out of his hand it would have also struck the building in the background, which didn't happen.
Ceremonial cannon salutes are done using a blank (no projectile) round, not a live round as depicted in this episode.
When Hawkeye leaves the swamp and meets Radar he puts on his Officer of the Day armband he raps it around and connects the two ends with Velcro. Velcro wasn't invented until after the Korean War in 1957 and wasn't widely used until the 1960's.
Captain Pierce is assigned OD duty after retreat, which is held at the end of the day. The Officer of the Day would come on duty at reveille.
Colonel Flagg mishandles his side arm when ordering Pierce and McIntyre to release the prisoner. When chambering a round in any semiautomatic pistol, the slide should be pulled back and released allowing a round to advance under spring pressure. Failure to do this will, in many instances cause the weapon to load incorrectly and jam. Also, in a combat area it is unlikely that someone would carry a pistol without a round already chambered.
