Based on Hawkeye's bar tab of $38.20, which "must be over 150 drinks" the drinks in the Officers Club must be approximately $0.25 each. Which seems a little high for the 1950's in an Officer's Club. The same drinks were a quarter in enlisted men's clubs in 1968. As Igor is handing out the bar tabs there is a menu behind him stating that mixed drinks are $0.25, call shots are $0.20 and beer is $0.10.
This was the first episode to air in the 1980s.
The title is based on the soldier malady battle fatigue.

Colonel Potter says. "If Carrie Nation had been in the OR with us, she'd be getting a little juiced right about now." Caroline Amelia Nation (November 25, 1846 - June 9, 1911), often referred to by Carrie, Carry Nation, Carrie A. Nation, or Hatchet Granny, was a radical member of the temperance movement, which opposed alcohol before the advent of Prohibition. Nation is noted for attacking alcohol-serving establishments (most often taverns) with a hatchet.
