Clever Crooks Drive Frank Crazy
This was a fast-paced story about a male-female duo who knocked off gas stations. They were motorcycle gang members who appeared to be working on their own. However, they would always use an innocent third party as a sucker to obtain info on the places they robbed and, after knocking over places and injuring the person at the station, they would speed away and then go up ramps into a semi-trailer parked nearby so they could disappear. Two other accomplices would help them with the big truck.
This case drove "Frank Ballinger" (Lee Marvin) nuts for awhile because of that disappearing-bikes strategy. He never saw that truck angle.
I liked Yvette Vickers in here. She was great as the cheap-looking blonde biker with an attitude, the same type of wise-butt attitude she had in the sci-fi classic, "Attack Of The 50-Foot Woman."
