***SPOILERS*** With this trio of just released ex-cons Frost Digger & Cole, George Keymas John Dennis & Frank Richards, knocking off a US Army armory and taking off with sub machine guns a bazooka and armor piercing shells the city of Chicago is turned int a free fire zone with the police as well as FBI agents almost hapless to stop them. Knocking off a number of banks as well as killing bank employees and costumers the three take off with $300,000.00 in cash and hold up in South Chicago's Bluebell Achers Complex.
While they were on their rampage the bank robbers blasted a patrolman away with bazooka fire who just happened to get in their way and it's his dad Let. Jack Cassidy, Jack Mather, who's determined to get them dead or alive for doing that. Told by Det. Let. Ballinger to stay out of the coming assault on the Bluebell Achers Complex Let. Cassidy tried to storm the place all by himself ending up wounded in the leg and jeopardizing the entire operation.

Ballinger taking advantage of a lull in the fighting, with the trio of bank robbers reloading their weapons,and with cover from his fellow policemen and FBI agents Ballinger risking his life storms the complex and puts an end to this reign of terror that the three hoods inflicted on the people of Chicago. And in doing that Ballinger is not given a promotion, to captain, or ticker tape parade by the grateful mayor and representatives of people of the city but an all expensed paid two week vacation to Disney Land instead!
