  • Brian bails on fiancée Emily. An engaged couple's parents try to stop the marriage. Contest promoter Larry takes a bribe and wife Sheila files for divorce. Gopher resents judging a contest. Tom and Mary want to wed, but there's a problem.
  • On a cruise where a number of engaged couples will be married, a man (Lloyd Alan) bails on his fiancée (Charlene Tilton) and expects his friend, the best man (Don Most), to break the news. The parents (Peter Graves and Kathie Browne) of a young engaged couple (Brian Kerwin and Erin Moran) try to stop their impending marriage. A contest promoter (Darren McGavin) considers taking a bribe and his wife (Debbie Reynolds) plans to file for divorce. Julie (Lauren Tewes) reconnects with a man (Don Most) she met on a previous cruise to Alaska. Gopher (Fred Grandy) is upset about having to be a judge of a contest, until he meets the other two judges (Ann Jillian and Dawn Wells). A couple (Ted Knight and Rue McClanahan), engaged for ten years, are finally getting married.—Glorified Gopher
