When Don is fending off the dinosaur from inside the cave, in close-ups the creature is green with smooth skin (puppet) but in the long shots it is silver with scaly skin (stock footage of a dressed up chameleon).
During the final sequence Farnum's ship taking off is the same footage used numerous times before for different ships.
