Stewardess Jean Davis is arrested for murdering one of her room mates and calls upon Maris, who she had met on one of her flights, to defend her. Maris and Lt. Weston investigate and uncover romantic entanglements. A somewhat pedestrian storyline but it does have one great line. When they arrest the real culprit and listen to his reason for killing the room mate, Weston says: "Why do these guys always say 'you don't understand me'?" The supporting cast was pretty humdrum except for Esther Dale who was in countless movies and television shows. The show also mentioned a practice that is fortunately no longer the case (and it's pathetic that it ever was) and that is that stewardesses couldn't be married. Ah, the good old days.
