The first time Beaver is seen with his hand-lettered 'sandwich boards', as he moves around, writing can be seen on the inside as well as the outside. Later, when he is talking to the ice cream vendor, no inside writing is visible.
Eddie states that they are inside the eighth grade. At the end of the series, Wally has just graduated from high school. This means that Wally has flunked two years.
For unknown reasons, the closing credits from The Perfume Salesmen (1957), which aired later in the season, are used here. The actors listed, Anne Dore and Helen Jay, did not appear in this episode. The correct credits should be: Ken Osmond [Eddie Haskell], Tiger Fafara [Tooey], Charles Wagenheim [bridge painter], Raymond Hatton [Charlie, the fireman], Allen Windsor [ice cream truck driver], James Gleason [Pete], and Johnny Silver [man on bridge].
